1. Do you have a show room where I can view your product?
If you live in the Greater Vancouver area, we can have a CouchBag® Consultant come out to show you the fabrics, and take all photographs and measurements of your furniture. There is no charge for this service. You can ask all the questions you like before the appointment by e-mail info@couchbag.com

2. Is a personal visit always required?
Yes, if you live in the Greater Vancouver area you will probably want a personal visit. There is no obligation and our consultant will be happy to show you the fabrics available and explain how your unique custom slipcover(s) will look.

If, after a review of your furniture, we don’t think we can get a good fit we'll tell you right away. We want our customers to be fully satisfied with their slipcovers.

3.How do I get a quote?
You can get a fairly accurate idea of how much a custom cover will cost by viewing the online Price List. You can also, at any time, send a digital photo of your furniture to sales@couchbag.com and we will be pleased to provide you with a quote.
A quote can also be provided over the phone and a firm quote is always provided after a personal consultation.

4. How much does it cost to cover the average sofa?
Approximately $300.00 but please see our Pricing Page.

5. Do you provide piping?
No. We feel this option would just add unnecessarily to the price of the slipcover. Besides, piping tends to get “wavy” after washing.

6. Do you provide skirting, pleated or otherwise?
No.CouchBag® slipcovers are finished either with an adjustable elastic bungee cord which goes neatly just under the bottom of your furniture, or with a rubberized thick elasticized edging if there is no “lip” on your furniture. This method creates a streamlined, easy to fit, modern look and is unique to CouchBag® custom slipcovers.

7. Do you cover recliners?
Yes. There are two types of recliners. One has a separate foot rest area (Recliner “A”) and one has the foot rest joined to the seat area (Recliner “B”). If there is a separate seat cushion for Recliner “A” it must be purchased separately.

8. Do you cover Wing-back chairs?
Yes, however, we generally only agree to cover them if we have the chair on site.

9. Do you cover Barrel Back sofas, loveseats and chairs?
Yes, however they are more difficult and require a different technique. We will generally not agree to cover this type of furniture unless you can deliver your chair to our workshop (White Rock, B.C.) sofas and loveseats can be finished at the customer's home (extra charges may apply).

10. Do you cover leather furniture?
Yes, but we generally only recommend a custom slipcover if the seat cushions are removable. If you choose a “thick” fabric, leather furniture without separate seat cushions can be covered effectively. You can send a picture to sales@couchbag.com for advice or to arrange for a personal consultation.

11. How do I know the covers will fit properly?
Each cover is made according to the individual measurements of the furniture. The covers are made to fit snugly and to go underneath the seat cushions, which are covered separately with zippered shams. A CouchBag® Slipcover will not come un-tucked and there are no messy bows, ruffles or frills holding it on. Simple custom design is the key difference between CouchBag® slipcovers and the over-the-counter variety.

12. What kind of guarantee is there that the cover will fit?
Refunds are not available on custom orders, however, complete satisfaction is our goal and you can expect to receive a quality product and excellent customer service. Please refer to the testimonials page on our web site. Any problems with the product after delivery please e-mail sales@couchbag.com or call “The CouchBag” 604-538-1518 and we will ensure you prompt attention, including a free follow-up personal visit. All efforts are made to immediately remedy any problems encountered.

13. Are the covers washable?
All of our fabrics are fully washable.

14. Can I receive a sample of the fabric chosen?
Small samples of fabric can be received following a personal consultation.

15. After ordering, when will I get my slipcover?
Your order will be completed in approximately 4-6 weeks time. A 50% deposit of the total amount is required upon ordering. Balance is paid after personal delivery of the product(s).

16. Are there shipping charges for local orders?
No. All orders are delivered personally. If you have any problems with your order, all follow-up, including any personal visits required, will be provided free of charge. You have no reason to be nervous when ordering CouchBag® slipcovers!
